The UCLA Police Department is committed to making the UCLA campus a safe and secure environment for teaching, research, and community service. This report provides information to our campus community to raise awareness about crime activity and the resources available to those we serve.
The Annual Security & Fire Safety Report is designed to inform you of UCLA’s campus crime statistics, security policies, and steps you can take to maximize your personal safety. The UCLA Police Department and University Administration are committed to providing the highest standard of professionalism and services on behalf of this University and the surrounding community we serve.
Each and every member of the UCLA Police Department is committed to the safety and security of every member of our community. We embrace our values of Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
We encourage you to use the information provided in this report to promote your own awareness and to make the UCLA community a better place. Should you have any questions after reading this report, or if you would like to talk to an officer, feel free to stop by our police station or call us.  If you would like a paper copy of the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report, you may obtain one at the front lobby of the police station at 601 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA  90095 or by contacting the UCLA Police Department Clery Coordinator listed below.

Training

Clery Act training is available to UCLA employees at the UC Learning Center.  Click on lms.ucla.edu, then “Find a Course”, then search for “Clery”.

Daily Crime & Fire Log

The Daily Crime and Fire Log is now available online at https://ucla.box.com/v/clerylog.  This is the 60-day Daily Crime and Fire Log as required by the Clery Act.  The log is updated daily, and each log includes the previous 60 days.
A hard copy of the log is also available at the front lobby of the police station.

The UCLA Police Department works in close collaboration with the UCLA Compliance Office, which serves as the University’s Clery Coordinator. The  Compliance Office holds primary responsibility for all Clery Act–related matters at UCLA, including compliance, reporting, and oversight. Additional information and Clery resources are available on the Compliance Office website.
